Badung, sriwijayadaily.co.id – The Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park tourist area in Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, is one of the main venues for the G20 Summit, namely as a welcoming dinner venue and also a venue for performing arts performances for Heads of State and Delegates of the G20 Summit. Therefore, security at the location must be thoroughly ensured.
Considering the TNI as the spearhead in security sector for implementation of the G20 Presidency, The Commander of The Indonesian National Armed Forces (Panglima TNI) General TNI Andika Perkasa, accompanied by Task Force Commanders and related officials involved in the G20 Summit Presidency event to conduct a review of the GWK Venue, on Friday (11/11/2022).
Arrive at GWK, Panglima TNI who was also accompanied by Pangdam IX/Udayana General Major TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., as the Regional Security Task Force Commander and Kasdam IX/Udayana General Brigadier TNI Sachono, S.H., M.Sc., as Evacuation Task Force Commander, welcomed by the Commander of the GWK Regional Security Task Force Complex, Lieutenant Colonel Czi Damai Adi Setyawan, S.I.P (Danyonzipur 18/YKR).
In front of the Panglima TNI, Commander of the GWK Regional Security Task Force Complex explained the readiness to secure the GWK Venue from all aspects, in terms of the readiness of the Task Force personnel involved and in terms of material readiness used in securing the VVIP invited guests who will attend the G20 Summit.
“The Task Force personnel are ready at every security point with complete weapons. In carrying out its duties, we collaborate with other Task Forces such as the Evacuation Task Force, the VVIP PAM Task Force from Paspampres and the Police Task Force,” said Complex Commander report its readiness to The Panglima TNI.
On the report submitted by GWK Complex Commander, The Panglima TNI gave appreciation and pride to all Regional Security Task Force personnel who served in GWK who had prepared their duties properly according to their main tasks. All the soldiers on duty have entered the position and put the position in a crucial place.
Furthermore, The Panglima TNI and his entourage carried out direct checks in detail in the GWK area to ensure that every personnel on duty could understand their duties with hope that the G20 Summit event at GWK could run safely and smoothly. (Pendam IX/Udy)
